Privacy Policy & Terms of Service:

UPDATED AS OF AUGUST 27, 2026

Information Displayed:

We, the supplier logo above ("us" "we"), use taCONNECT, a business CRM and contact-management platform owned by Travel Relations LLC ("TR"). taCONNECT works in a manner similar to other sales CRMs: each client company (including the supplier named by the logo above) receives its own secured taCONNECT account. That client uploads and maintains its own company contacts so its business development managers and sales associates can work those relationships.

A core taCONNECT service is contact-data updating. TR operates forms in the market (including this page) that let a business contact review and correct professional details. When taCONNECT captures an updated data point for a person who already exists in a client's secured taCONNECT database, TR makes that update available for the client to download into that existing record. Updates are not used to insert you into a client database where you do not already appear. Through this network of forms and ongoing contact updates, taCONNECT keeps current the contacts that a client already holds.

TR publishes this Privacy Policy & Terms to explain how information you submit on this website is used by the supplier above and by TR. This policy applies to personal information processed in connection with this website, other taCONNECT update forms in the market, and related taCONNECT communications. It does not apply to information gathered by other methods or controlled by other written agreements, except where those activities use the same taCONNECT records described here.

For purposes of applicable privacy law, Travel Relations LLC is the operator of taCONNECT and, together with the supplier identified by the logo above, determines how business-contact information submitted on this page is used. Questions may be sent to support@travelrelations.com.

How We and TR Collect Your Information:

We (supplier logo above) collect business contact information in a variety of ways. If your information is in our database and displayed for you on this website, it is because you have had some prior business interaction with us. Examples of original sources include: trade shows, training or rewards programs, webinars and seminars, trade advertising, shared industry affiliations, selling or buying our products or services, and working with our Business Development Managers or Sales Associates.

The form requires about 30 data points covering who you are, where you do business, and your sales specialties. Categories include: name; job title; company name; business email; business telephone; business postal address; country or state of business; industry segment or sales specialty; event or program participation; communication preferences; and source and date of the original business contact.

To support compliance with the United States CAN-SPAM Act, Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and similar laws, taCONNECT records the "Original Source" and "Original Source Date" of business contacts added to the database (including contacts added on or after June 1, 2018).

If your information appears on this form, it is because it already exists in the supplier's secured taCONNECT database (typically because the supplier uploaded or previously captured you as a business contact). taCONNECT displays that record so you can review, correct, and submit it. When you submit an update, the corrected data point is written back to taCONNECT and made available for that supplier to download into the record it already holds.

Completing and submitting a TR/client form (approximately 30 data points on who you are, where you do business, and your sales specialties) is how you opt into the TR services described under "Use Of Your Personal Information." The form itself does not contain separate opt-in or opt-out choices. After you submit, you are added as a "submitted" contact to TR's Marketing Services database and to InsiderTravelReport (B2B travel news). You may unsubscribe at any time from Marketing Services promotional email and from InsiderTravelReport.

Use Of Your Personal Information:

If you provide an updated contact profile, it is used to keep the supplier's existing taCONNECT record accurate and, because completing the form is the opt-in, to enroll you in TR Marketing Services and InsiderTravelReport. Uses include:

We and TR also use information to: operate and secure the website and databases; diagnose technical problems; measure aggregate traffic; comply with law; prevent fraud or misuse; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on one or more of: performance of a contract or pre-contract steps; compliance with a legal obligation (including CAN-SPAM and CASL recordkeeping); legitimate interests in maintaining accurate B2B records, operating a contact-management platform, and sending relevant industry communications that you can opt out of; and consent where we ask for it (including certain electronic marketing and non-essential cookies). You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.

We will not use submitted contact information for new purposes that are incompatible with this policy. If our practices change in a material way, we will update this page and change the "UPDATED AS OF" date. Where law requires additional notice or a new choice, we will provide it.

Sharing Of Personal Information With Third Parties:

TR does not rent mailing lists as a standalone product. TR may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

To the supplier identified by the logo above, and to other TR clients on whose taCONNECT database you already appear, as described in this policy.

To service providers and vendors that process information for TR under contract (for example hosting on Amazon Web Services in us-east, Virginia; email delivery; analytics; and support). Those parties may use the information only to perform services for TR and the applicable supplier, not for their own unrelated marketing.

When you register for an educational program, contest, event, virtual seminar or tradeshow, or other promotion sponsored by a third party, that third party will receive the information needed to administer the program unless a different notice is posted for that promotion.

When required by law, legal process, or a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to investigate or prevent illegal activity, suspected fraud, threats to safety, or violations of these terms, or to establish or defend legal claims.

If TR is acquired by or merged with another company, information about you may transfer as part of that transaction. We will require the successor to continue to use the information in a manner consistent with this policy, subject to applicable law.

If you are a "submitted" contact in TR's master database, TR may share limited professional details such as email address, company name, job title, and state or country of business with trusted partners who deliver industry content likely to be relevant to your role. Those communications include an opt-out. Under some U.S. state laws this activity can be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. See "Your Privacy Rights" below to opt out.

Cookies:

"Cookies" are small files stored by your browser. TR, the supplier, and service providers may use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, local storage, and log files) to operate the site, remember form progress, measure visits, diagnose problems, and understand which pages are used. Some cookies are necessary for the site to function. Optional cookies, if used for advertising or additional analytics, will be used only where permitted by law, including after consent where required in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland.

You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you refuse cookies, some features may not work as intended. Browser controls do not stop all server-log collection described under "IP Address."

IP Address:

TR automatically receives and records information on server logs from your browser, including IP address, cookie identifiers, browser type, referring URL, and the page requested. TR uses this information to diagnose server problems, administer the system, protect against abuse, review traffic in aggregate, and improve site content and layout.

Retention:

Business contact records are kept for as long as they are needed to maintain an accurate industry contact database, honor opt-outs (suppression lists are kept so we do not email you again), resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. When a record is no longer needed, it is deleted or de-identified, subject to backup cycles.

International Transfers:

TR is based in Southport, North Carolina, United States. taCONNECT is hosted on Amazon Web Services in us-east (Virginia), United States. TR is not certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. If you are in the EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another country with transfer restrictions, your information may be processed in the United States. Where those laws require a transfer tool, TR relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and Swiss-approved modules, as applicable), plus supplementary measures where needed. TR does not rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and does not rely on the invalidated EU-U.S. Safe Harbor or Privacy Shield frameworks.

Your Privacy Rights:

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to opt out of marketing. Marketing emails already include an unsubscribe link. You may also email support@travelrelations.com with the subject "Privacy Request."

Europe (EEA, UK, Switzerland): You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling used to tailor industry content, and you may withdraw consent for electronic marketing at any time.

Canada: You may withdraw consent to commercial electronic messages as provided under CASL by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us. We honor unsubscribe requests within the time required by law.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may deny a request where an exception applies (for example, we must keep a suppression record, or the information is needed for a legal claim). Authorized agents may submit requests where state law allows, subject to verification.

Your California and Other U.S. State Privacy Rights:

This website is intended for business-to-business use. Even so, California and other U.S. state privacy laws can still apply to business contact information.

California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and certain targeted advertising. Residents of other states with similar laws (including, where applicable, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others) may have comparable rights to access, delete, correct, and opt out of targeted advertising or sales.

To submit a request, email support@travelrelations.com with the subject "Your State Privacy Rights" and tell us the right you want to exercise. You may also use that address to opt out of sale or sharing of professional contact details for partner content. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Shine the Light (Cal. Civ. Code ยง 1798.83): California residents who used this site for personal, family, or household purposes may request information about disclosures to third parties for those parties' direct marketing by emailing the same address with the subject "Your California Privacy Rights." We are required to respond to one such household-purpose request per customer each year through this email address.

Children:

This site is directed to travel-industry professionals and is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have done so, contact us and we will delete the information.

Disclaimer:

TR uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. TR is not responsible for the independent acts of third parties that receive information as described in this policy, except to the extent TR is required to be responsible under applicable law. TR also links to other sites and may display third-party advertising. Those parties' privacy practices are their own.

Changes To This Privacy Policy:

TR may update this Privacy Policy by posting a revised version on this page and changing the "UPDATED AS OF" date. Material changes will be indicated on this page. Where law requires additional notice or a fresh choice (for example a new marketing use), we will provide it. Continued use of the site after the effective date means the revised policy applies to later collection and use, except where a separate consent is required.

Your Consent To This Policy:

By using this website you acknowledge this Privacy Policy and the Terms below. If you do not agree, do not use the website or submit a form. Where privacy law requires a specific consent (for example certain emails under CASL or GDPR, or non-essential cookies), we will not treat mere website use as that consent.
