WHY CROATIA?
It's open for tourism

Entry for tourism is permitted (US included) with documentary evidence of an accommodation paid in advance and in full, prior to arrival at the border. To qualify for entry all passengers must present one of the following:
 
» A negative viral test result: PCR or rapid antigen test (acceptable antigen tests here) not older than 48 hours. Travelers entering Croatia with a rapid antigen test and staying longer than 10 days must repeat the test within ten days of the original test.
 
» A certificate of vaccination (any vaccine) for persons whose final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine is more than 14 days prior to crossing the border.
 
» A medical certificate confirming that the traveler has recovered from COVID-19 after having a positive PCR or rapid antigen test result. The certificate is valid from the 11th to the 180th day after the positive test result.
 
There is no curfew in place and there are no travel restrictions between regions in Croatia. Bars and restaurants are currently open, (outside areas only) and all tourist attractions are open and accepting visitors.
