Open as of today, Sina Villa Medici is ready to begin welcoming your clients once more. New and improved after months focused on enhancing the property and guest experience, Sina Villa Medici remains a 'city resort' perfect for those seeking a quiet oasis within bustling Florence. Sina Hotels is thrilled to announce an affiliation with the legendary Harry’s Bar Firenze and the opening of its second location at the Sina Villa Medici, to be known as 'Harry's Bar – The Garden'. A Florentine staple since 1953, Harry’s Bar has welcomed several generations with class and elegance and soon, guests will be able to enjoy its distinctive style at Sina Villa Medici’s lush private garden in the heart of Florence!


While Sina Villa Medici was closed due to COVID-19, the pool that sits in its calming garden was remodeled by a team of ‘marmista’ artisans (marble workers) from a company called Colalillo Marmi. In business since 1927, Colalillo Marmi has just 10 employees who produce everything, including Sina Villa Medici’s new pool, entirely by hand.


We’re delighted to introduce our friend Fernando Pane as the new General Manager of Sina Villa Medici. Some of you may know Fernando from his many years in the industry working as Resort Manager at Hotel Il Pellicano or Rooms Division Manager at Sina’s Hotel Bernini Bristol, among other roles. Fernando has an extremely positive attitude and is a real pleasure to work with; it is a pleasure to have the opportunity to continue doing so. Upcoming events in Florence include the 'Pitti Immagine' international fashion fairs taking place throughout the summer as well as a variety of events that celebrate the 700th anniversary of Florence native, Dante Alighieri. A symbol and icon of Italian culture, Dante is being honored by events that include theatrical performances, art gallery exhibitions and more.


It is now possible to carry out Covid-19 testing directly at all Sina Hotels, including the Sina Villa Medici. Guests can choose between a variety of test options and must make the reservation directly with the hotel at least 48 hours in advance.
