2020 is shaping up to be one filled with many challenges. As tourism professionals, we are poised to face each challenge with determination and optimism. Our industry makes us resilient!
We would like to provide you with some important updates. They are as follows:
First, the Tourism Authority of Thailand wishes to assure you and your clients that Thailand is open for business and remains ready to receive your clients. Thailand’s events and festivals between now and March 2020 will take place as scheduled. For travel between destinations within Thailand, please be assured that Thai airlines have stepped up preventive actions against the spread of the 2019 novel coronavirus. We encourage you to share with your client’s recommendations on steps to reduce the spread of the virus.
Lastly, we would like to share a statement from the Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand. It gives a current account of Thailand’s efforts at dealing with the Novel Coronavirus.
